One of the greatest and most recognized experts in the field of sexology. He is a sexologist, a psychiatrist, a licensed psychotherapist and a clinical sexologist expert witness. He is the National Consultant in sexology and the Head of the Department of Sexology and Psychotherapy, in the Medical Centre of Postgraduate Education.
Prof. Zbigniew Lew-Starowicz graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Military Medical Academy in Lodz and philosophy at the Catholic University of Lublin. In 1986 he received his Ph.D. in medical sciences, and in 1996 his Ph.D. assistant professor of medical science title. Since 1995 he is a Professor at the University of Physical Education in Warsaw, and since 2009 - Associate Professor at the Medical Centre of Postgraduate Education.
He is the president of the Polish Society for Sexual Medicine and the Polish Society of Sexology. He has served as an expert to the Minister of National Education in the field of sex education. He was also the leader of the United Nations program in this field.
Prof. Starowicz is a disseminator of knowledge about sexual life and human sexuality. He has been an active participant of numerous scientific conferences and congresses. He is the author of more than 1200 papers, including dozens published in foreign journals and he has authored and co-authored over 80 books published in many languages around the world.
Specialist in the fields of urology, sexology and general surgery. She is the Regional Consultant Urologist and the Head of the Clinical Department of Urology in the Teaching Hospital in Bialystok.
She is a graduate of the Medical University in Bialystok, where she received her PhD degree in medical science in 1986 and her PhD assistant professor in medical sciences title (post-doctoral degree) in urology in 1996.
She is a Fellow of the Polish Urological Association, Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU) and a member of the American Board of Urology. She has participated in numerous scientific training courses and internships in urology centers abroad, among others at the Florida’s University Hospital’s Urology Department and at the Department of Urology in Sapir Medical Center, Israel.
She is the author of more than 160 papers in the field of urology and sexology and over 80 papers presented at congresses and conferences in Poland and abroad. Her main professional interests relate to the areas of Erectile Dysfunction, sexual dysfunctions and surgical treatment of penile diseases and deformities.
Dr. Marek Filipek is VEDI Clinic Medical Team Leader and a specialist in the fields of urology and general surgery. He is Head of the Urology Ward in the Specialist Western Hospital in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. He is a graduate of the Collegium Medicum Faculty of Medicine, Jagiellonian University, Cracow, where in 1999 he received a PhD degree in medical science.
He has been associated with the Collegium Medicum for many years - the Teaching Hospital’s Urology Department of the Jagiellonian University, where he has worked as a senior assistant and lecturer. In the year 2000 he was nominated Head of the Urology Department of the St. Lukas District Hospital in Tarnów.
He has participated in numerous scientific training courses. He has also received several grants and internships in prestigious urology centers abroad, among others in the Florida’s University Hospital’s Urology Department, in L'Hôpital Lapeyronie (Montpellier) and in the Teaching Hospital Urology Department at the New York School of Medicine.
He is a Fellow of the Polish Urological Association (PTU) – in 1997 he was the deputy chairman of the Cracow Division of PTU. He is also a fellow of the European Association of Urology. His achievements include dozens of publications and papers presented at congresses and conferences in Poland and abroad. He has participated several times in international, multicenter clinical trials.
He is a propagator of innovative treatment methods and surgical techniques. He has frequently been awarded for his scientific activity and achievements in the area of urology (prize-winner among others of the 1st prize of the PTU and Zev Wajsman’s Award). As the head of the urology department of the Specialist Western Hospital in Grodzisk Mazowiecki he has created from scratch one of the most modern and best equipped urology wards in Poland.

Dr. Maciej Zarębiński is one of the pillars of VEDI Clinic Team. He is an independent cardiologist and an interventional cardiologist with many years of experience. He is a graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw. He acquired his specializations in internal medicine consecutively in 1994 and 1997. Since 1999 he has been a Cardiology Specialist. He obtained his Medical Science Doctor title in 2005.
Maciej Zarębiński gained his experience while working at the Cardiology Clinic of the Central Clinical Hospital of the Military Medical Academy of Warsaw at Szaserów Street and the Medical University of Warsaw at Banacha Street. He also worked as an Invasive Cardiology Consultant in the "Allenort" Cardiology Clinic and the Military Institute of Medicine in Warsaw.
Since 2009 he has been a Head of the Clinical Ward of Cardiovascular Diseases Diagnosis in Independent Specialist Western Public Hospital in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. Since 2010 he has been a Medical Team Leader and one of the main operators at AMEDS Centrum, a clinic specialized in CCSVI (Chronic Cerebrospinal Venous Insufficiency) diagnostics and treatment in Multiple Sclerosis patients.
Dr. Maciej Zarębiński specializes in diagnostic and therapeutic treatments performed on coronary vessels. His longstanding clinical practice translates into tremendous experience in the field of conservative treatment of coronary heart disease, arterial hypertension, heart diseases and other diseases of the cardio-vascular system. Moreover, he performs implantation of vena cava filters in prophylaxis of pulmonary thrombo-embolisms and cardiac muscle biopsies. Together with his Team he performed more than 500 angioplasties of jugular veins at AMEDS Centrum.
Before his medical studies, Maciej learnt in high schools in Libya and Malta. He speaks English and French fluently.
Dr. Piotr Pawluczuk is an interventional cardiologist. He graduated from the Medical Department of the Medical Academy of Białystok in 1994. He received his specializations in internal medicine consecutively in 1997 and 2000. He acquired his Secondary Board Certificate in Cardiology in 2005.
Dr. Piotr Pawluczuk worked as a Consultant (Senior Assistant) at the "Allenort" Cardiology Clinic in Warsaw and the Cardiology Clinic of the Military Institute of Medicine in Warsaw. He also gained much experience at the Gastroenterology Clinic of the Military Institute of Medicine in Warsaw where he worked as an Assistant and, later, as a Senior Assistant. Today, he is a Cardiology Consultant (Senior Assistant) at the Clinical Ward of Cardiovascular Diseases Diagnosis in Independent Specialist Western Public Hospital in Grodzisk Mazowiecki.
Dr. Piotr Pawluczuk specializes in the endovascular treatment of peripheral arteries and physiological methods of evaluating blood flow disorders in blood vessels. Since 2010 he has been one of the main operators at AMEDS Centrum, a clinic specialized in CCSVI (Chronic Cerebrospinal Venous Insufficiency) diagnostics and treatment in Multiple Sclerosis patients.
Currently he also works as a Consultant (Senior Assistant) at the "Starówka" Non-public Healthcare Facility and at the Independent Central Public Clinical Hospital in Warsaw. He is fluent in English and French.
Dr. Krzysztof Milczarek is an interventional radiologist at VEDI Clinic. He specializes in diagnostic imaging of the vascular system. He is a graduate of the Warsaw Medical University. He acquired his radiology specialization in 1999 and in 2005 he obtained the title of Doctor of Medical Sciences.
Since 1993 he has served at the Second Department of Clinical Radiology at the Warsaw Medical University since 1993.
Dr. Krzysztof Milczarek is affiliated with AMEDS Centrum, a clinic specialized in CCSVI (Chronic Cerebrospinal Venous Insufficiency) diagnostics and treatment in Multiple Sclerosis patients from its founding. At AMEDS Centrum he performs Doppler Ultrasound examinations according to Zamboni Gold Protocol in order to confirm CCSVI in MS patients.
